Maine Home & Design/ CEEF Kitchen Tour 2010 (16)
On September 11, 2010 CEEF sold over 700 tickets to tour goers visiting 12 beautiful Cape Elizabeth Kitchens. The kitchens showcased the area's premier kitchen designers and builders and brought our community together all to support education. Third-annual Pasta with Purpose (10)
Our third spaghetti fest turned out great, with over 300 people eating a delicious meal, hearing some great music, and checking out our grants-on-display movie. Thanks to all who came - we'll see you next year! -
Fiction Writing Grant - Jennifer Jacobson (6)
Pond Cove teachers had the opportunity to spend multiple school days with published children's book author, Jennifer Jacobson. Jacobson inspired the students and gave the teachers valuable instruction to implement a new fiction-writing program into the curriculum. -

VEX Robotics March 2010 (16)

Hear Our Stories Cafe Series (6)
Reza Jalai read from the book "Mainers, Portraits of Our Immigrant Neighbors" and then facilitated conversations between several of the immigrants featured in the book during the Hear Our Stories Cafe that took place in the CE Community Services Center on December 14,2009. This event was funded by a Fall 2009 CEEF grant. -

Rebecca Bean's African Encounter Tour Summer 09 (6)
Rebecca Bean, Middle School Music Teacher, shares her photographs from her African Encounters Tour. She received a grant from CEEF in the Spring of 2009 that provided the final costs for her to attend a three-week course (summer 2009) in Ghana on West African drumming, sound, dancing and culture. -

Pasta With Purpose (14)
On May 30, 2009 CEEF held their second annual Pasta With Purpose Dinner! The dinner invited all of Cape Elizabeth to come enjoy dinner provided by Willows and Market Fresh Produce on the eve of the Pond Cove 5K. The night was also a grants celebration displaying and demonstrating many of the grants that have been recently funded. All photos were taken by Patricia McCarthy. -
CEEF Kitchen Tour, 2008 (5)
The First Annual Maine Home & Design Kitchen Tour, presented by Sotheby's International Real Estate Proceeds from this successful inaugural event went to fund public education through the grant-giving of the Cape Elizabeth Education Foundation. -

Richard Rothlisberger's high school art class creates digital images thanks to a CEEF grant that funded a digital darkroom. -
CEHS Wellness Committee (9)
As part of a more than $16,000 CEEF grant, a collaborative effort between joint groups yielded a renovated high school cafeteria, wonderful, healthy menus with local produce and visiting chefs, and enthused students and visitors from the community. The groups involved were high school students & staff members, the Cape Elizabeth Farm Alliance, Cape Elizabeth Historical Society, school board & SYSCO. Let's Go! seeded the Wellness Committee. -
Global Connections (9)
The Cape Elizabeth Middle School foreign language department received a CEEF grant for a multi-approach program called Global Connections. The program included a series of panel discussions, gathering immigrants from around the world to speak with middle school students about their journeys to Maine.
