Partial funding for an additional 8 videoconferences at the Middle School and four videoconferences at Pond Cove, as well as consultant fees for Jill Bell for the school year. The equipment and ISDN lines are in place, funded by the district after two years of support from CEEF. Fees for eight videoconferences are currently in the budget for next year; this proposal is to expand the offerings and use of the equipment and to pay for consulting fees and membership in a consortium of content providers known as the Educational Enterprise Zone.

To date, approximately 25 students with a variety of skill and interest levels have expressed interest in the Robotics Team and have been working with the existing equipment.

Funding to bring two well-known Maine writers, Baron Wormser (poet laureate of Maine) and Dawn Potter, to the High School to work with a variety of English classes for a two-day period. The second day would involve an evening reading of Potter and Wormserメs work, as well as studentsメ writing. The goal of the project is to encourage and inspire kids to think creatively and to grow as writers, and also to bring public celebration to their efforts.
