Technology in Our Schools - CEEF Grants at Work

Between 2008 and 2010, CEEF awarded over $45,000 to all three district schools to further the goal of incorporating technology into teaching and learning.  Pond Cove School now has LCD projectors and SMARTboards in every classroom, having received over $22,000 from CEEF and a complementary award from the PCPA to outfit the rooms with cutting-edge equipment.  CEMS science teachers also are equipped with LCD projectors and Mimio Teach tools, as are the fifth-grade team.  Pod-casting is being taught to fifth-graders, and "clicker" technology is being used at both the middle school and CEHS to enhance learning in innovative fashion.

Thank you to our generous donors for making so many exciting changes happen within our schools.  Even during somewhat lean times, our students, teachers, staff and administrators are keeping up with the newest and most electrifying technology thanks to you.

Watch this three-minute video and find out what this extraordinary SMART technology can do.

Mimio Teach tools are being used in Cape Elizabeth Middle School. Take a look at this cheery UK training video to see what Mimio tools bring to the classroom!

Is that your FINAL answer? Read here about how "clicker" technology is changing physics teaching at CEHS.
